This original acrylic painting captures the raw beauty of nature's eternal dance - a powerful waterfall cascading into rushing waters below, framed by majestic snow-capped mountains under a star-filled sky. Fog and mist rise through the full moonlight, creating an ethereal atmosphere that speaks to the soul.
I created this as a loving tribute to my grandmother. (Painting was done in the hospital sitting next to my grandmother, who was fighting for her life in critical condition in the hospital's emergency ICU department.) As she was laying next to me, fighting for her life, I was terrified, scared, alone and I knew she must've felt that way too. I wanted to paint something that would emanate and capture her beautiful soul - strong as the mountains, flowing as the river, and luminous as the stars that continue to guide her path. She has always taught me that life, like light, finds its way through every obstacle, always moving toward something greater.

LOVE CONQUERS ALL, or am I just a hopeless romantic?
I painted this during one of the hardest seasons of my life, when the meaning of love was being rewritten in ways I didn’t expect.
Love wasn’t soft or easy in that moment, it was messy, complicated, and painful. It didn’t look like the fairytales I grew up believing in. It looked like standing in the fire and choosing to see beauty in the embers.
The piece began with a heavy drip of all different colors and then I began painting with jagged, imperfect strokes, like the moments when love felt more like survival than comfort.
As the paint moved beneath my hands, I started weaving in softer layers, the kind you only find when love grows through forgiveness, boundaries, and truth. Every curve, every blend of color is a conversation between the love I thought I wanted and the love I now know I deserve.
This painting carries the reminder that love, real love asks us to see each other fully, even in the shadows. To show up when it’s uncomfortable.
To love without ownership, without conditions. To LOVE differently.

This painting was created and captured on canvas while sitting in the cold, sterile light of a hospital’s ICU, next to my grandmother as she fought for her life.
Machines beeped.
Shadows stretched.
Fear pressed heavy on my chest.
I was terrified… and I knew she must have felt that too.
In that moment, I needed to create something that held her spirit, the parts of her that no illness could touch. Strong as the mountains, flowing as the river, luminous as the stars. She has always been my quiet guide, teaching me that life, like light, finds a way through every obstacle, even when the fog is thick and the night feels endless.
She made it through. She survived. Her strength, her grace, her unshakable love, those things carried her, and they still carry me. The mountains in this piece are her strength, the water her ever-giving love, the moon and stars her eternal guidance.
